WEEK 8 (2 November 2020 - 6 November 2020)

    Here you go for the first day of my week 8, Monday! This week is an English week. In the morning, I was involved for the opening ceremony. My mentor, Puan Nuur, was assigned me to pick two pupils from 5 Kritis to perform jazz chant in that opening ceremony. I'm glad that my mentor choose me to practicing them. I've been trained them using WhatsApp video call as I had been informed on last Friday.
    So, there will be many competition will be held during this week from year 1 until year 6. As for today, I will be handling Word Search Competition for my class, 2 Kritis. They will be given 1 hour to complete the word search by colour the words in the table. Pupils with the highest marks will be rewarded by the teacher. Then, my pupils was finished the competition in less than 40 minutes. So, for the free time, I decided to do some exercise with those pupils using their Practice Go work book, page 25. I do some short explanation on how to use grammar "Is there" and "Are there". After that, we discuss the answers together.
    Anyway, I've got no relief class for today.

Tuesday, 3rd November 2020

    The next day, Tuesday! Since we are still in English Week, so I need to handling Spelling Bee Competition for my class, 2 Kritis. The competition requires 20 words to be spell by the pupils. I do say every words loudly and repeat the words for three time only. Pupils must listen carefully to the words and spell it correctly. Pupils that got the highest marks will be rewarded by the fellow English teachers.
    As for my relief class, I've got one relief class which is at 2 Positif from 8.45am until 9.15am.

Wednesday, 4th November 2020

    Third day of the week, Wednesday! So, today I will be teaching my 2 Kritis pupils. I decided to teach them the grammar - Let's. I do some short explanation and do some notes on whiteboard about grammar - Let's. The pupils need to copy the notes on their book. Then, I'll give them some exercise where they need to fill in the blanks with the most suitable verbs. I'll draw the pictures on whiteboard, then pupils need to copy it into their book. Before I end the class, pupils need to do some exercise in their Practice Go work book, page 55, where they need to fill in the blanks with the correct phrases. I do the discussion immediately during the class.
    As for my relief class, I got one relief class which is at 1 Positif from 9.15am until 9.45am.

Thursday, 5th November 2020

    It's already Thursday! Since we are still in English Week, I will be handling singing competition for my 5 Kritis pupils from 9.45am until 10.45am. Every pupils must sing an English song with correct ryhmes and harmonies. They need to sing confidently in front of the class. This competition are good to boost their self-esteem and motivate them to interact with many people. I really enjoy today seeing them enjoying the singing. Pupils with the highest marks will be rewarded by the teacher.
    As for my relief class, I've got two relief class which are at 2 Kritis from 11.05am until 11.35am and 5 Positif from 1.05pm until 1.35pm.

Friday, 6th November 2020

    Finally it's Friday again! Today, I will be handling Impromptu Speech Competition at 5 Kritis from 11.05am until 12.05pm. The pupils will randomly do the draw lots of the topic, then they will be given 1 minute to think about the topic. After 1 minute, every pupils must talk about their topic in front of the class. The most fruitful speech will be rewarded by the teacher.
    As for my relief class, I've got one relief class which is at 1 Aktif from 7.45am until 8.15am.

Monday, 21st September 2020     H ere you go with my week 2 of my practicum journey! So today is the day where I starting to teach my 2 Kritis pupils from 8.15am until 9.15am. As for very first teaching the class, I decide to teach them The Skeleton from Unit 8: Robot. I also had consult with their own teacher and she suggest me to continue the subtopic The Skeleton. WEEK 5 (12 October 2020 - 16 October 2020)

  Monday, 12th October 2020      Hi week 5! So the Monday come again! As usual, I will teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. To boost my new week of practicum, I had decided to “Make A Robot Mask” for my pupils 🤖. I distributes them with various robot mask, then pupils need to color it by their own creativity and cut it through the line neatly until it becomes a robot mask. In addition, the most beautiful and neat work will be rewarded by me. Hehe 🎁      As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Positif from 11.35am until 12.05pm. WEEK 3 (28 September 2020 - 2 October 2020)

Monday, 28th September 2020      Hello! Here you you go for my week 3 of practicum. So, it’s Monday where I teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. I had decided to do Practice Go work book for my pupils, page 39. Pupils need to listen to the hint then guess the person by write the name at the pictures shown. Next, I’ll give them a worksheet contains animals skeletons. Pupils need to match the skeletons to the correct animals. I do check and corrects them immediately during the class.      As for the relief class, I get one relief class which is at 5 Positif from 8.15am until 8.45am but coincidentally it is clash to my schedule, so I’ll inform to my GPK1 and she manage to change with another teacher to enter the class.
