WEEK 6 (19 October 2020 - 23 October 2020)

Monday, 19th October 2020

    Hello to my week 6 and it’s Monday! So, I was taught my 2 Kritis pupils from 8.15am until 9.15am as usual. I decided to do their Practice Go work book, page 46 and 47 where pupils need to read the poster, then answer the ‘True’ or ‘False’ questions that related to the poster. After that, pupils still using their Practice Go work book, page 48 where they need to choose the most suitable sentence for every picture shown.
    As for my relief class, I get two relief classes which is first at 6 Aktif from 11.35am until 12.35pm. Second, the relief class were at 6 Efisien from 1.05pm until 1.35pm.

Tuesday, 20th October 2020

    Second day of my week 6! As usual, I will be teaching my 2 Kritis pupils from 11.05am until 12.05pm. I decided to do a self-mini book with my pupils about the previous lesson that they had learnt. I distributes the material to each student. Pupils need name the animals and write the actions that can be done by the animals. It is related to the song that they had sing before in textbook page 96. Then, pupils must cut the paper through the line and combine it until its become a mini book. Lastly, pupils need to color all the pictures in the mini book by their own creativity.
    As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Kritis also from 8.15am until 8.45am.

Wednesday, 21st October 2020

    Third day of my week 6, Wednesday! I will be teaching my 2 Kritis pupils from 10.35am until 11.35am. Today, during my class I will be evaluate by my mentor, Teacher Nuur. So, I decided to sing a song with my pupils as we are in new chapter today which is Unit 9: At The Beach. Pupils need to open their Super Minds textbook, page 108. I do some explanation on activities that they usually do when at the beach. I played the song loudly while pupils need to listen first. Then, I replayed the song while pupils were sang the song with correct rhymes and harmonies. I’m happy for that! Then, I distributes a worksheet to each pupil, they need to number the sentences while I played the song again. Pupils must listen and number the sentences based on the song correctly. After that, I distributes another worksheet where they need to arrange the pictures according to numbers and write a sentence about the pictures.
    As for my relief class, I get two relief classes which is first at 2 Aktif from 9.15am until 9.45am. Second, my relief class was at 1.05pm until 1.35pm.

Thursday, 22nd October 2020

    Fourth day of my week 6! It’s Thursday already! So, I will be teaching my year 5 pupils, 5 Kritis from 9.45am until 10.45am. So, for this week, I decided to go for new chapter which is Unit 13: Lost and Found, as their own teacher had cover the previous chapter. Today class, I do some read a story with correct pronunciations and intonation in their textbook, page 126, 127 and 128. After that, I choose some pupils to do quick role play of the story in front of the class. Then, pupils must do the following exercise which is arrange the sentences according to the story and combine it into one paragraph. Pupils must write it in their exercise book, it seems like the summary of the story.
    As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Kritis from 10.35am until 11.35am.

Friday, 23rd October 2020

    Here you go the last day of the week 6, Friday! So, for today class at 5 Kritis from 11.05am until 12.05am, I had decided to do some paragraph about being detective since pupils will be learn about detective kit. Then, pupils open the textbook into page 129. Pupils will see a picture of detective kit and the name of every things in the detective kit. I do some explanation and had also distributes them a picture of detective for them to paste it in their exercise book. After that, pupils must choose 5 things that they want to be in their own detective kit. Pupils must write it in a paragraph with teacher guides.
    As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 1 Positif from 9.15am until 9.45am.
