Week 1 (14 September 2020 - 18 September 2020)

 Monday, 14th September 2020

    Hi! It was my first day as a practicum teacher at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bachang, Melaka. I had arrived at the school as early as 7.10 am and I am just straight to the school's office. I met the GPK 1, Puan Zaiton to be acknowledge and get a brief from her. Coincidentally, the morning of the day we came, the school was having a "Majlis Penutupan Bulan Merdeka", so its take us some time to get fully briefing as the GPK 1 needs to handle it with the other teachers. After the event is done, me and my practicum partner, Nur Ainin Sofia were assigned to our desk at the Bilik Mesyuarat as the teacher's room in our school doesn't have enough space for us to stay. In the middle of that, gladly we stay there with around 8 other teachers so that we can still united with other teachers 😬. So, me and Ainin was just had a warm chatting and greetings with the fellow teachers, then we were just took a walk around the school.
    After a while, the school office called us and asked to relief a class which is 3 Inkuiri, we were so excited as its the first class that we will entered even its just only a relief class 😅. My most unforgettable moments during the class was when I entered the class, they greet us by called us "Teacher Soffea" as I using my nametag. I am just so sincerely when they can call me "Teacher Soffea" as I don't even introduce my name, they just read my name on my nametag. Then, we played some games and some fun activities in the class. The students felt so happy. 
    After we finishing the relief class, we went back to our room and stay until the time to go back. Before we got home, our GPK 1 had told us that she will gave the schedule within this week and gave some relief class in between that.



Tuesday, 15th September 2020

      Hi! It was my day two of practicum! I was feeling excited and nervous at the same time. So, today I get only one relief class which is at 5 Positif from 8.45am until 9.15am. After that, I do some short briefing and consultation with my mentor, Puan Siti Nuur Rahmah, who is the Ketua Panitia Bahasa Inggeris of my shcool. She briefs me with a lot of important information in this school and teaching ideas. My day two wasn’t that bad as I started to feels comfortable with the fellow teachers and the school's surrounding. Gladly, this school was my previous primary school, so majority of the teachers here was my previous teachers! I'm super happy here hehe. Thank you SK Bachang 💗

Wednesday, 16th September 2020

Malaysia Day! (Public Holiday)

    It was my day three as yesterday was a public holiday (Malaysia Day)! I feels it so fasterrr 😂 Today I get a relief class at 1 Positif from 7.45am until 8.15am. As it a year 1 pupils, so I planned to played a game during the class. When I entered the class, they was so excited and happy. I played some common games like charades, simon says and etc. I’m still playing a games with using English language. On this day also I get a chance to entered 5 Kritis class with Teacher Siti Nuur Rahmah (Yes, my mentor's class 😉) as I will teach them on Thursday and Friday. The day was good as I am just do get to know the environment of the school and the pupils.

Friday, 17th September 2020

    It's Friday! I got no relief class but still I’m doing some consultation with my mentor and GPK Koku. As I was consulting with GPK Koku, Puan Siti Zariah, she had arranged me and Ainin to handle the pentaque club, we need to do the attendance, brief the module and check on the module. Meanwhile, my mentor was giving me the Scheme Of Work and any syllabus that related to my upcoming classes. I had also meets the teachers that I will cooperate with, which is Teacher Ida Nasuha, she is teaching 2 Kritis, so we decided to divided from Monday until Wednesday, the pupils with have lesson with me, while the other days which is Thursday and Friday, they will have lesson with Teacher Ida. So, my lesson with the class will start on next week. On this day also I get the chance to enter 2 Kritis class with Teacher Ida to get to know the environment and how the teaching works in the class.

Monday, 21st September 2020     H ere you go with my week 2 of my practicum journey! So today is the day where I starting to teach my 2 Kritis pupils from 8.15am until 9.15am. As for very first teaching the class, I decide to teach them The Skeleton from Unit 8: Robot. I also had consult with their own teacher and she suggest me to continue the subtopic The Skeleton. During the class, I distributes the pupils a cut-out worksheet. The worksheet contains the skeleton that they need to cut and paste it in correct order. Then, they need to label the parts of the skeleton correctly. WEEK 5 (12 October 2020 - 16 October 2020)

  Monday, 12th October 2020      Hi week 5! So the Monday come again! As usual, I will teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. To boost my new week of practicum, I had decided to “Make A Robot Mask” for my pupils 🤖. I distributes them with various robot mask, then pupils need to color it by their own creativity and cut it through the line neatly until it becomes a robot mask. In addition, the most beautiful and neat work will be rewarded by me. Hehe 🎁      As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Positif from 11.35am until 12.05pm. Tuesday, 13th October 2020     Second day of my week 5, was still taught my 2 Kritis pupils from 11.05am until 12.05pm. So, today I decided to teach them on describing their own robot. WEEK 3 (28 September 2020 - 2 October 2020)

Monday, 28th September 2020      Hello! Here you you go for my week 3 of practicum. So, it’s Monday where I teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. I had decided to do Practice Go work book for my pupils, page 39. Pupils need to listen to the hint then guess the person by write the name at the pictures shown. Next, I’ll give them a worksheet contains animals skeletons. Pupils need to match the skeletons to the correct animals. I do check and corrects them immediately during the class.      As for the relief class, I get one relief class which is at 5 Positif from 8.15am until 8.45am but coincidentally it is clash to my schedule, so I’ll inform to my GPK1 and she manage to change with another teacher to enter the class.
