WEEK 3 (28 September 2020 - 2 October 2020)

    Hello! Here you you go for my week 3 of practicum. So, it’s Monday where I teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. I had decided to do Practice Go work book for my pupils, page 39. Pupils need to listen to the hint then guess the person by write the name at the pictures shown. Next, I’ll give them a worksheet contains animals skeletons. Pupils need to match the skeletons to the correct animals. I do check and corrects them immediately during the class.
    As for the relief class, I get one relief class which is at 5 Positif from 8.15am until 8.45am but coincidentally it is clash to my schedule, so I’ll inform to my GPK1 and she manage to change with another teacher to enter the class.

Wednesday, 30th September 2020

    The day 3 in my week 3! So, today I teach 2 Kritis from 10.35am until 11.35am. This day I decided to encourage my pupils to sing a song from the Super Minds textbook in page 96. I think this type of activity will make them feels fun and enjoyed for awhile in the class. The song is related to the topic that I will teach which is actions by skeleton. After that, I choose some of the pupils to act out the actions in the song. They really enjoyed the class and get a lot of fun. Then, as for the exercise, pupils need to listen to the song again and guess the name of the animals in the pictures with hint from the song. Pupils must write the answers into a sentence in their exercise book. I'm checked and corrects them immediately during the class.
    As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 4 Kritis from 1.05pm until 1.35pm.

Thursday, 1st October 2020

    It's Thursday! The day where I will be teaching my 5 Kritis pupils from 9.45am until 10.45am and I had decided to teach my pupils grammar topic which are prepositions 'among' and 'over'. I do some explanation on those prepositions to my pupils and do some notes for them. Then, I had gave my pupils some exercise which is they need to fill in the blanks with correct preposition to complete the sentence. After that, I gave my pupils a worksheet where they need to circle the correct answer according to the short passage. Before I end the class, I do some randomly questions to my pupils about the prepositions that they learnt today.
    Anyway, I got no relief class for today.

Friday, 2nd October 2020

    The last day of the week! So, I entering 5 Kritis class from 11.05am until 12.05pm. Today, I decide to do some quick revision as my pupils will sit for their examination next week. I distributes a comprehension (Section B) sets for my pupils. I do discussion with my pupils on how to answer and tips to not lose marks in some types of questions. In short, I do the comprehension paper together with my pupils, so no one will left behind. This comprehension paper required them to write the most suitable response on the following questions. Meanwhile, other questions contains a short passage, advertisement and flyer.
    As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Kritis from 10.35am until 11.05am.

Monday, 21st September 2020     H ere you go with my week 2 of my practicum journey! So today is the day where I starting to teach my 2 Kritis pupils from 8.15am until 9.15am. As for very first teaching the class, I decide to teach them The Skeleton from Unit 8: Robot. I also had consult with their own teacher and she suggest me to continue the subtopic The Skeleton. During the class, I distributes the pupils a cut-out worksheet. The worksheet contains the skeleton that they need to cut and paste it in correct order. WEEK 5 (12 October 2020 - 16 October 2020)

  Monday, 12th October 2020      Hi week 5! So the Monday come again! As usual, I will teach 2 Kritis from 8.15am until 9.15am. To boost my new week of practicum, I had decided to “Make A Robot Mask” for my pupils 🤖. I distributes them with various robot mask, then pupils need to color it by their own creativity and cut it through the line neatly until it becomes a robot mask. In addition, the most beautiful and neat work will be rewarded by me. Hehe 🎁      As for my relief class, I get one relief class which is at 2 Positif from 11.35am until 12.05pm.
